Google data use
What Vera does with your Google account, in plain words.
Signing in
Signing in with Google gives Vera your name, email address and profile picture. Nothing else is requested.
Connected services (optional)
Calendar: Vera reads your events for the day and creates events you ask it to, with a Google Meet link when you choose one.
Tasks: Vera creates the tasks you ask it to and shows your Google tasks.
Vera does not read your Gmail or any other mail.
What is stored
Only an encrypted access key, the list of services you allowed and the time you last used them. Calendar, task and mail content is fetched when needed and not saved on our servers.
Limited use
Vera's use of information received from Google follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to show you your own information and to do what you ask. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not read by people except where needed for security or the law.
Turning it off
Settings, Connected services, Disconnect removes Vera's stored key and asks Google to cancel it. You can also remove Vera at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
